Decent but needs major UI and UX improvements
Pros

It is great that the platform supports different formats like SCORM which makes it the best for multiple learning needs of ours.

Cons

While its a decent LMS tool, I feel like the UI and UX needs improvement for all users such as admins, instructors and learners. Also it is not very intuitive and feels outdated. It would be great to see a more modern and user-friendly design.

Great for corporate learning
Pros

I think It is fantastic for corporate training and upskilling. It's super easy to use and the platform makes it simple for teams and users to get the hang of it.

Cons

It's missing some features that would be really useful for more structured, long-form learning. Things like plagiarism checking or allowing for long-form content submissions would be great.

Training game changer
Pros

Out of everything Absorb LMS has to offer, two things really stand out to me. First, it adapts training content based on how team members are doing. Plus, the training content is visually rich and interactive, which makes learning so much more engaging. It helps with knowledge retention and prevents those annoying dictionary lookups while training.

Cons

There are a few gamification features thrown in, which is nice. But when it comes to content translation, both basic and advanced options are a bit lacking. Also, compared to previous years, there aren't many new advanced assessment tools or resources. I also wish there were more customization options for training modules to reflect a company's specific branding.

Absorb LMS works well
Pros

The customer service is top-notch! The interface is really flexible and it integrates smoothly with other systems I use.

Cons

The system feels really clunky for admins and the apps can be glitchy. It's also pricey if you need support beyond the basics and it's tough to get queries or issues resolved in a timely way.

Ideal for accounting
Pros

I love that I can assign training based on different departments, set deadlines and even add a quick questionnaire to make sure everyone's on track.

Cons

I think It should set some limits on how long training videos should be. Some departments are putting up videos that are over 2 hours long! It would be better if training was broken up into smaller, digestible chunks. Also, documents related to the videos should be easy to access after the video ends, instead of having to watch it again to find the steps.

Aamzing platform
Pros

It's super easy to use and if I ever need help, the guides are useful. Plus, if I need more assistance, the support team is always there to give me a hand.

Cons

I'd love to see more work done around dynamically targeting user groups. It could make things a lot easier.

Easy to use
Pros

Overall, Absorb is pretty easy to use and flexible. The Create tool, especially with the addition of AI has been such a huge help when I'm creating new content. Whenever I need help, the Absorb support team is always there to assist.

Cons

Some parts of Absorb are kind of clunky. For example, when creating a class, it's easy to click the wrong button and end up enrolling the whole company instead of just making the class available to everyone.

I love it
Pros

What I love most about Absorb LMS is the amazing support we get, especially from support team. They've been a huge help in guiding us, especially during the early stages when onboarding was taking longer than expected. Their expertise really helped us overcome challenges and move forward.

Cons

I love how customizable Absorb LMS is but it can be a bit of a challenge to start with a blank slate. Unlike systems with pre-made templates, It requires a lot of time and effort to tailor the platform to your needs. It's a bit demanding at first but in the end, it's totally worth it because it helps create a more effective and engaging training program that aligns with our goals.
