It has been good
Pros

I like it because it made connecting with my teachers and classmates so much easier outside the classroom.

Cons

I don't like the word counter on the discussion boards as it requires me to expand multiple times on a single topic.

A valuable contribution to education
Pros

As a user, it was incredibly simple to review my coursework and complete a variety of assignments within the platform. This tool also made it easy to communicate with my professors and fellow students.

Cons

While its functionality is great, I think they could expand the platform to include more interactive or dynamic assignments.

Keeps track of my work
Pros

What I love most about it is that I can make suggestions or apply changes live without losing track of anything. The collaboration on bigger projects also feels smooth and organized.

Cons

The least favorite thing about Canvas is that it can't be used offline. You need to be online whenever you want to use it and co editing with others at the same time is not as easy as I would like.

Valuable assest for students
Pros

Canvas is a well organized program for students. I enjoyed using it for my studies and was able to navigate everything easily without needing help from anyone.

Cons

It might seem overwhelming at first but it's super easy to get the hang of once you dive in.

It deserves to be number one
Pros

I LOVE it. It's one of, if not THE best LMS out there. I would and do, highly recommend it. I have used several different LMS platforms but Canvas surpasses most in almost every category. It is up to date, easy for users to access necessary tools and integrates seamlessly with other add ons. It's a great LMS.

Cons

Sometimes the tools feel limiting. For example there are not enough font options to add a personal touch to messages. Formatting can also be tricky. If you know coding, you can create your own format but the default formatting in it feels basic.

Simple and easy to use
Pros

Canvas is easy and keeps everything nicely organized. It was easy to navigate when I used it for some online classes.

Cons

Some sections can be hard to find but I think this is more about how the professor organized the course layout.

The premier platform for fantastic support
Pros

We've been using Canvas in our K-12 district for more than a decade. We have grown with the platform as it expanded into the K-12 market and we love the benefits of being early adopters.

Cons

Right now, the biggest challenge for us is the transition from the classic Quizzes feature to the new Quiz online assessment tool.

14 years of experience using Canvas and its been good
Pros

I've been using it since high school for all my classes, college and even now as a graduate student. It's been incredibly helpful. Before we used it, there was no easy way to track our grades or assignments. We used paper for everything. With it, we can check our grades anytime, submit homework online and learn from the organized files and modules. I also loved that they made an app for iPads and phones, which made staying on track much easier with built-in alarms.

Cons

There's no major downside to it but if I had to mention something, it would be the occasional updates that block access for a few hours. That is probably the only negative I can think of.
