My experience with cloud academy
Pros

I used Cloud Academy for my AZ-104 prep and I've got to say, I was pretty impressed. The lessons are delivered really well and the single-user plan is affordable too.

Cons

I'm mostly a Windows user and streaming lectures online can be a bit expensive for me. So, the fact that there isn't an offline Windows app was a bit of a letdown for me.

Awesome tool for certification
Pros

As a complete beginner, I had no problem navigating the courses. They have a great selection of training programs at different levels, so I was able to pick up some useful knowledge. The Dashboard is one of my favorite features, it shows where I am in my learning journey, my exam results and my progress. And I love that they provide labs as well.

Cons

I'd really love it if they could add a condensed PDF version of the lectures. Also, in my opinion, the DevOps module could be shortened a bit to keep the user's attention throughout.

Exploring cloud learning
Pros

The hands-on labs are so much better than Qwiklabs. They're well-designed and practical. Also, Cloud Academy's support team is fantastic, super responsive and always ready to help.

Cons

Almost every video lesson has an introduction where the instructor talks about themselves for about 5 minutes and how to connect with them on different platforms. It's fine at first, but if you're working through a 10-hour learning path with 30 videos that means you're spending around 2.5 hours just on intros. Even if you skip them, you might miss important info or get frustrated. Plus, if you're doing multiple learning paths, there's no way to tell if you've already gone over something which can be a bit confusing.

Detailed cloud tech courses
Pros

The videos are clear with no distracting music. The instructors are fluent and know what they're talking about. The content is solid, and I can practice everything I learn in real cloud labs. The labs aren't too easy but they really help me apply the theory. The quizzes are great too; they make me think and I can review my answers, see the correct ones and get explanations. They add new classes regularly and the course layout is easy to navigate. Plus, they don't just focus on cloud stuff, they cover programming languages like JavaScript too.

Cons

There are so many courses that it can be easy to get distracted if you don't have a clear goal in mind. The online platform is a bit expensive but there are some really good discounts if you commit to longer plans, like 3 years, which gives you 17 months free.

Very simple to learn
Pros

Cloud Academy is such a simple tool but the courses are amazing and really help broaden your knowledge. One feature I love is the Offline mode, where I can download courses and watch them anytime without needing an internet connection.

Cons

The Android app has some bugs, it crashes sometimes, so that's something they need to fix.

Top cloud training platform
Pros

If you want to become an expert in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud or Alibaba Cloud, It is definitely the way to go. They have a huge training library with courses, quizzes and more.

Cons

The training library is really easy to follow and I've never had any issues while learning. Honestly for me, Cloud Academy has been pretty perfect with no major cons.

All-around awesome experience
Pros

The best part? It's available on multiple platforms. I can use it on the web, through the Android app and I can even access it offline whenever I need to review.

Cons

I found a few sync issues between the mobile app (Android) and the browser-based version. I had to redo a couple of modules to get credit. It was kind of annoying at first, but it worked fine later on. Also, I noticed that some things weren't available on the mobile version, so I'm hoping future updates will address this.

Super affordable learning platform
Pros

The training plans are perfect for helping me track my goals. The virtual lab environments are a huge time-saver too, they let me practice in AWS without worrying about setting everything up or dealing with billing.

Cons

The only downside I've come across is that I'd like to see more Python labs for intermediate learners like myself.

All in all, good
Pros

The content is well-structured and really easy to use. I used it to prepare for one of my certification exams and it covered everything I needed to know.

Cons

The practice exams don't really match up with the real exam, there's a big difference. I think they could do a better job of aligning the practice tests with what you'll actually see in the real exam.

Fantastic online courses
Pros

It offers great training that I can access through a web browser or even my phone. The exercises are super practical, the hands-on labs are awesome and the videos are solid. The labs were a bit tough at first but I felt so satisfied when I finally nailed them!

Cons

Sometimes, some of the sessions in the training courses are a bit too long. Also, once or twice, my progress on the mobile device didn't sync properly with the web browser.
