Good but quite expensive

Pros

Their wide range of products really stands out when it comes to enhancing learning experiences. When eLearning Brothers took over Trivantis Lectora which was one of the earliest authoring tools, it really caught my attention and showed me how serious they are about advancing e-learning.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say about it. The only thing is that their prices seem higher than other options out there. Because of that some industries tend to look for cheaper alternatives.

ELB Learning templates and examples they offer are really helpful because we can break them down to see how they are built step by step.

Cons

Honestly I cannot think of any real drawbacks. It has been very helpful overall.

eLearning Brothers shares a lot of useful info that applies to many tools used in instructional design. Also it is awesome being on their mailing list because I get all the latest tips and tricks right away.

Covers everything we needed

Pros

The huge amount of assets they have is simply amazing. Also they cover everything from graphics and models to music and videos plus templates for popular learning software like Storyline and Captivate.

Cons

One challenge is that they have so many choices it can sometimes be hard to find exactly what we need. But their search tool is excellent so this usually is not a big problem.

Reliable site for online learning

Pros

What is great is that it lets us customize our course, picking only what we want and skipping stuff that is not relevant. That way we avoid wasting time on topics that do not interest us.

Cons

I think it has not reached its full potential yet. Plus it does not cover everything and the user experience could be better. And beginners might find it a bit difficult to navigate.

Offers a variety of eLearning choices

For instructional designers looking for ready to use templates or training modules, eLearning Brothers is a great choice. Plus they have a great variety and a rich collection of resources that really help our instructional designers.

Cons

They do not offer special pricing for non profits which is a bit disappointing. Still for the price, I think it is a decent option.

Provides fast solutions for everyday issues

Pros

It is awesome that the characters I often need for elearning projects are available right away and they are diverse and realistic. Plus the free resources also offer helpful tips for tools like Camtasia, Lectora, Captivate and PowerPoint, which we use a lot in our work.

Cons

The downside I noticed is that the digital assets feel a bit expensive, especially since they might appear in other people's courses too.

Proven quite helpful for learning

Pros

eLearning Brothers offers a broad selection of images and templates suitable for many different eLearning development tools which makes it easy for us to create training materials.

Cons

It works really well when your employer covers the cost but keeping a personal subscription can get too expensive. I just wish they would think about it a little.

Good overall but assets could be better

The character assets are my favorite because they are really useful in my projects. However I do wish they had even more options to choose from.

Cons

I feel like many of the asset libraries do not have top quality materials. While I have not tried everything, I often struggle to find usable music or images there and tend to look elsewhere for those.
