Transparent customer service
Pros

Skilljar makes customer communication super easy and I always get the right responses when I need them. It's really impressive how they handle support.

Cons

No cons. It has totally exceeded my expectations in terms of performance. It's a really dynamic tool that keeps things running smoothly.

Amazing support team
Pros

I'm really happy with their customer service and the onboarding process. Everything's been pretty smooth from the start.

Cons

The lesson management feature is probably the one area I think could use a bit of improvement. I would've liked to see it work a little differently.

Good features with disappointing support team
Pros

One of the things I love the most is how I can set up a detailed learning site for users. It's also great to have live events within the same system as the LMS.

Cons

The support team for Skilljar has been pretty underwhelming. They offer helpful resources but when I need support, I often get slow replies, sometimes more than 24 hours to get a response. And instead of providing a real solution, they often just send me a link to a knowledge base article I've already read. I end up troubleshooting a lot of things myself because their support doesn't give me much direction. Plus, sometimes they point the finger at 3rd-party integrations without testing or offering alternatives to eliminate the issue.

Improved onboarding experience
Pros

I really enjoy being able to customize the learning experience for users. The way content is organized is super flexible and user-friendly, which makes it easier to use.

Cons

While Skilljar is customizable, I really wish it had more of a white-label feel. I'd love to make it feel more like our own brand.

Super easy to use
Pros

It's super easy to use and I don't feel like I'm spending too much time getting used to it, unlike other LMS systems. It has a ton of features that work for both customer and employee training.

Cons

There aren't any automated reports and the analytics are pretty basic, especially if you don't have integrations with other tools. A lot of things are too manual, like managing courses and users. Plus, email customization has some limitations.

Great LMS for all types of customer training
Pros

Skilljar gives us all the tools we need to create an immersive learning experience. We use a mix of video, SCORM, quizzes and text to keep learners engaged. Plus, there are lots of ways to personalize our catalog page to match our branding.

Cons

The customization with code snippets can be tricky to manage. Also, the admin console can be a bit confusing, sometimes it's hard to find the settings I need in one place.

Ideal LMS for customers
Pros

I really appreciate the per-user analytics and the ability to download uploaded files from Skilljar, it just makes everything so much easier.

Cons

It would be great if Skilljar added advanced features like templates to directly import quiz questions. That could make things a lot easier.

Really solid LMS
Pros

It's very easy to use and it's a solid LMS for running a learning portal or University. It supports different formats like SCORM, video files, PDFs and more. It also helps me manage live training sessions easily.

Cons

Some UI elements are a little hard to use and the dashboard analytics could definitely be more detailed. It also needs more options to customize the look of the university.

Best tool for scaling
Pros

Designing our content the way we want was very easy. I love how customizable the design and flow of the content are, so it really fits our needs.

Cons

The Salesforce integration doesn't fully meet my needs and it would be a game-changer if there was a direct integration with Gainsight.

Solid option in the space
Pros

Support and customizability are big pluses for me. Also, the certification feature is pretty great.

Cons

The testing question types are a bit limited. Certification is fine but the variety of question types could use some improvement.
