Customer service is reasonable
Pros

My experience with customer service is great. The support agents are very helpful and the knowledge base is packed with useful courses, articles and community discussions. Plus the Docebo community is a great place for peer learning, which makes it even better.

Cons

There is no option to archive courses but only to put them under maintenance, which I did not find ideal. Plus our organization also needs better power user permissions to avoid having so many super admins. Another issue is the lack of customization on pages. I would love to see more widgets, upgraded designs and options that save me from spending time figuring out HTML/CSS hacks just to make things look right.

It made learning easy
Pros

First off, the people here really know their stuff. They understand their product and services inside out, plus they are aware of how they stack up against competitors. The member I was talking too was very attentive, empathetic and communicated really well. Also their content library is amazing and the learning platform is loaded with all the features you could ask for.

Cons

The restrictions on user licenses are frustrating. And if a team member is not using their license, we can't transfer it to someone who actually needs it.

Easy to customize and user-friendly
Pros

Docebo is a powerful LMS that can be customized, scaled and developed alongside our company. The features and frequent updates have really impressed us, and we have built our L&D strategy around what the platform offers. Here are the three key features that stand out to us, high customizability as we can tailor the platform to fit different learning needs. Scalability as it grows with us and works across different audiences and use cases. Continuous Updates as regular improvements keep it aligned with industry trends and evolving learning demands.

Cons

Our top three biggest pain points are three. First is the steep learning curve as setting up and configuring everything takes time and can be pretty complex. Secondly, basic features need upgrades like the notification module and the certificate app. And lastly advanced customization is tough as it requires technical skills, which not everyone has.

Helps me stay on track
Pros

The user interface is smooth, and the power user and super admin access profiles are really useful too. Plus, the notification updates help me keep everything on track.

Cons

Managing annual certifications and retraining is limited, making it harder for me to keep everything organized.

Reliable LMS tool
Pros

It is easy to use and comes with a powerful set of comprehensive tools which has proven helpful for us.

Cons

The account management team is not quite consistent. You can get an idea with one thing that I have had three different account managers in just one year.

Helps build better customer connections
Pros

I love how it replaces three different programs at my workplace. Now, I can handle everything for my customers in one platform. I can even send emails and notifications directly from Docebo. Another great thing is the Docebo Community. Like if I have a question or need tips, I just search the community or post a question and I always get helpful replies. And if I don't want to ask the community, there is always someone from their team ready to help.

Cons

Even as a super admin, I still cannot check which notifications or emails were sent to someone or if they even opened them. So I feel like having access to notification/email logs would make things so much easier.

Great, but has room for improvements
Pros

Setting up and managing Docebo is so easy. It didn't take long to get our program managers started with creating courses, maintaining them and helping users along the way.

Cons

I wish there was a way to create course applications. Also having more reporting options would really help.

Modern ... Not perfect...
Pros

Docebo has a clean and user friendly interface for both admins and learners. It works well overall, but there are some areas where I think improvements would be easy wins. Plus I like how well data is categorized and the reporting features are really strong.

Cons

There are a lot of limitations in it that don't seem to have any real purpose I feel, other than making things harder than they should be. And\ it's frustrating because these issues hold the platform back from reaching its full potential.

One platform for all business needs
Pros

The implementation team's support has been amazing. Also I love that we can manage three separate training programs such as Customer, Partner and Internal, all on the same platform. The admin interface is also highly intuitive.

Cons

I feel like managing training materials from the Central Repository, tracking exam score history and handling learning plans could definitely be better.

Offers good assistance
Pros

Once you get the basics of the LMS, it's smooth sailing. Navigating course features and learning plans is easy and the customer support on the technical side is fantastic. I also like how we can build pages, courses, catalogs and channels without much hassle. And, there are good options for creating an optional course library for learners.

Cons

Customization is pretty limited when it comes to different pages. Some features we expect to be included just aren't there. Also, to get the most out of the LMS, you really need some background knowledge of API and SAML which isn't ideal.
